Spring Kid’s Tournament

For those who have been asking and asking…we’ve finally set a date for the Kid’s spring tournament!  It will be held on Saturday, May 19th.  The location is the Academy of Kung Fu on SE 21st and Powell.  The tournament will run from 9AM until Noon. Mark your calendars.

The format will be the same as the previous tournaments.  Doors will open at 8:30.  The tournament will begin at 9AM.  There will be forms, sparring and grappling sections, each divided up by age and rank.  Medals will be awarded in each division for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.  The cost will be $10 to participate (in any or all events).  All Mo Duk Pai students under 14 are welcome to participate.  There is no cost to  for families and students who want to observe.

Order of events will be forms, then sparring and finally grappling.  We will do our best to finish on time.
