Upcoming Tournament

It’s never too early to announce an upcoming event, so here it goes… we’ve got a kid’s tournament coming up Saturday June 4th at the Academy of Kung Fu.  That’s more than three months away, which hopefully will encourage folks to clear their calendars for that morning.

We’re still hashing out all the details of the event but it will be similar in structure to the last tournament.  Cost will be $5 per student.  There will be forms, sparring and grappling.

Advice for forms: take a moment before or after class to do your form, have a classmate watch and offer constructive criticism.  Advice for sparring: harmony spar with your classmates for a couple of minutes before or after class.  Advice for grappling: find a partner you trust and slow roll with them for a couple of minutes before or after class.
