Lunging Helen

Why would anyone lunge at Helen?  Well, it was raining outside, so we couldn’t run.  What do you do when you can’t run?  Some people might plop down on the couch, tell their dog they’re sorry and flip on the TV.  We take the high road and do weighted lunges!

The workout was 3 rounds of:
21 Kettle Bell swings
12 Pull ups
60 meters of weighted lunges

The students all informed me that their forearms were thoroughly toasted after this one.  I suppose under the “normal” Helen workout, the run would provide some relief for the hands… so it goes.
