For many of us, half guard is a place of desperation. We’ve lost guard and we’re hanging on to one leg just praying that our partner doesn’t get cross body or mount position. Praying that we can just hang on long enough that the clock runs out or our partner makes some egregious error.
Be desperate no longer, fellow grapplers. There are ways to reverse the half guard when you’re on the bottom. Today we examined one way and while that’s not enough, it’s certainly better than hoping the clock runs out.
