Here’s two versions of the same drill:
One is called squish the bug. You get on top of your partner in the mount position and you don’t let them up. You squish them like a bug (with a sense of fun, of course).
The other is called volume knob. You get on top of your partner in the mount position and you set your volume knob to one (out of ten). If they reverse the position then the next time it’s their turn you ask them if you can turn up the volume a notch. You keep doing this until they either reach 10 or they can’t reverse you. If they can’t reverse you then you offer to turn the volume back down.
Two approaches to the same thing. The hope is that no matter which way you play it, everyone is learning about how to hold a top position and how to reverse a bottom position. If you are using the volume knob drill, make sure that you keep your volume at the same level the whole time (think initial speed).
