Testing

On Saturday, Mo Duk Pai had an adult orange & purple test at the Academy. It was nice to see all the students cranking out good solid basics for a couple of hours. It’s a great reminder to me that quality comes with patience, practice and a grounding in fundamentals.

It was an especially interesting test because I got to promote my first adult student to orange. With the kids, we give them rank when we feel like they’ve arrived there. For the adults, we let them test when we think they’ve arrived… then we see if they have.
