Squat for Toys

We hear your demand for a charity holiday workout.  On Sunday, December 16th, we’ll be hosting an all school, all program workout during the regularly scheduled CrossFit class titled, “Toys For Squats.”  That means EVERYBODY can come.  Kids, CrossFitters, Kung Fu folks, friends, family, people you pull in off the street.  Everybody.

The charity we’ll be sweating for is the Center for Family Success.  Their goal is to help families that are tied up in the justice system – to help break the generation cycle of criminality.  Specifically, we’re sweating to get toys for children whose parents are incarcerated.

So, the cost of this workout will be new and gently used toys, games, gift cards, and books for children ages 0-18.  Save up for the big event and impress us all with your giant load of extreme generosity! Start collecting items with your children, or hit up friends, co-workers or neighbors to join in the giving!

Cash donations ($5-$20) will be applied to the communal purchase of beautiful new toys at locally owned Thinker Toys in SW Multnomah Village at a generous discount of 15% off.  If you personally elect to buy toys for this event at Thinker Toys, they will give you 10% off if you state the reason for your purchase. If you can’t be there that day and still want to give, we will be taking donations up to that time.
