Move More

movemoveMove your feet – keep yourself in motion.  Open your eyes – keep your mind in the current moment.

Today in the family class our focus was on continual motion.  We started simply by walking and breathing.  Then we added the hands up.  Then we added punching.  Then we added kicking.  Then we added punching and kicking at one another with no contact.  Then we added burpees.  Then we added bear walk.  Then we added crab walk.  Then we… just moved.

It’s important to let the basics go sometimes, let go of form and expectation and just move.
