Such was the case at Winterhaven today, as I ran the students through the same paces Lara and I used on the three classes of SW Charter students. First there was the “voice only” section in which I described verbally what I wanted the students to do. Then there was the “action only” section in which I demonstrated what I wanted them to do. And finally there was the take your pulse before and after working hard.
The lesson here is (once again) that repetition works not just for a student drilling basics but for a teacher learning management skills.
