Pardon Me but are You Using That?

Nothing complicated today.  Just swing around that absurdly heavy kettlebell 5 dozen times…
Let me bore you with the following story you’ve probably all heard by now.  Several months ago, a visiting CrossFitter came by and did a WOD with us.  No biggie.  Except instead of using the prescribed 24kg bell, he used the 32kg.  He stated calmly as we all shook in our (flat) shoes “Swing it a few times in a workout and you get used to it.”  That got me thinking, then swinging.
And you know what… he’s right.  These days, if the whiteboard says swing the absurdly heavy kettlebell, we do it.  Now, if only I’d bought that 40kg bell…
