Our Part

There’s our lion, doing her part to brighten up the community by throwing a bit of lettuce around.  Her part in what?

Well, the neighborhood the studio is in is called Hillsdale.  Just recently, Hillsdale was one of three neighborhoods to win a grant from the city of Portland, entitled “Portland Main Street“.  So what’s this mean for the school?

It means we’re part of a neighborhood that is growing and evolving.  Our role is to support that by showing the community what we do and providing some entertainment.  Thus, a Lion Dance and Kung Fu demo were in order.
