Talented Group!

Tonight marked Kung Fu Club’s 4th year as participants in Lewis Elementary’s Annual Talent Show. As soon as they saw the mythic Lion Dance drum being carried up on stage, the crowd knew what was coming! It is always interesting to see how individual students react to the opportunity to get up on stage and put their “stuff” out on display before an audience of hundreds. About half the students choose to participate in the performance, which was clearly a huge feat of courage for some. They all did a great job, and we are very excited to be offering up a Mo Duk Pai kid’s forms and sparring tournament come late May so they may continue to have opportunity to clear hurdles and grow more confident in their skills in a public forum.
