Portlanders tend to get a little crazy when it gets sunny out because well… it rains here a little bit… or maybe all the time. So we, the athletes of CrossFit Hillsdale, took it our work outside today.
The workout used four tools – a medicine ball, a kettlebell, a jump rope and a pair of dumbbells. After using each tool, we ran up and back along the hill outside of the school, while carrying said tool. Why, you ask? Why not, I reply.
It went like this:
50 wall balls
run up & back w/ medicine ball
50 kettlebell swings
run up & back w/ kettlebell
50 double unders
run up & back w/ jump rope
50 push presses
run up & back w/ dumbbells
run up & back w/ medicine ball
50 kettlebell swings
run up & back w/ kettlebell
50 double unders
run up & back w/ jump rope
50 push presses
run up & back w/ dumbbells
Try not to break down in the middle of the celebrations – weather it be enjoying the sun or enjoying 50 wall balls in a row.
