Talent Show!

The Lewis students got to show off in front of their peers & families Friday night. Along with 38 other “acts”, the Kung Fu club got up on stage and gave it their best for 3 minutes. They were all super excited to have a chance to show off all the gains they’ve made over the past year.

We kept it simple: stances, strikes, a hand combination, 4 count street and sui-wan. For a little flair, I played the lion drum as an intro and outro. It feels good to be getting some mileage out of that investment.

It was great to hear thank yous from the parents as well that hard work gets appreciated. We look forward to seeing the DVD of the entire show!
