More Than One

Rare is the conditioning piece that contains a single rep of anything. Most times it is at least 5 reps of any given movement at a time.

So why do we practice single reps of the Olympic lifts? Because it helps to establish high quality movements AKA skill.

So then why do we sometimes practice doubles and triples of the Olympic lifts? Think of these segments as trying to bridge the gap between the skill building practice of single reps and the high rep squeeze of conditioning. Ideally, you’re using all your technique no matter how many reps the whiteboard tells you to do. Form before intensity.
