Move Your Feet


I know not everyone moves their feet when they lift. Some folks come up onto the balls of the feet and then slam right back down to their heels.

My personal experience is that when I move my feet, the bar goes higher. Those times when I don’t move my feet, the bar doesn’t go as high. All other things being equal, I’d prefer the bar go up as high as possible. Therefore, I strongly suggest that you jump and move your feet off the ground when you lift.
