Theme of the Week: Form

One way to get better at the art is to break down techniques into pieces, examine those pieces for faults, correct those faults and then but the technique back together.

Forms, used properly, can be used to examine movement patterns, correct those patterns and then look for a more tightly assembled (better moving) form.

This week, we’ll emphasize the teaching/learning technique of breaking things into pieces, cleaning off the pieces and putting everything back together… and no, you’re not allowed to bring your carburetor in for repair.
