Theme of the Week: Harder Questions

Those of you who trained this week know the actual theme was “the reward for correct answers is harder questions” but I didn’t think the name would fit in a post title.

The idea is that if a student gets an idea, they should be presented with something more challenging. In the case of martial arts, this might mean if they get a technique, then they should progress to trying the technqiue against resistance. It might also mean, in the broader context of body connection, if a student can do a move, then they should be given a more complex move.

Learning, in other words, is a constant state of challenge.
