Now that those existential questions have been dealt with, consider the simple fact that if you aren’t putting more weight on the bar then you’re doing it wrong. That’s right, folks, provided you are not injured, you should be adding weight to your lifts. This means, of course, that you have to actually know what you lifted last time, which means you’ve got to keep track of what you are lifting, which means… write down your numbers so that you can try and beat those numbers.
