Theme of the Week: Knees

This week we’ll look at our knees as weapons, defensive tools and as tools to keep us mobile.

Today we looked at the importance of keeping your knees bent in a martial situation. For most of us, most of the time, in most situations, keeping the knees bent makes moving and adapting to the situation in front of us easier. We applied this idea against strikes, against pushes and then in the wider context of chi Sao.
