You Are How You Move

If you are what you eat then you are also how you move. Your daily habits matter. Two hours of CrossFit a week will not undo forty hours a week of sitting in a chair. Five minutes of foam rolling will not remedy a lifetime of neglected range of motion.

Life is movement. Your body adapts to what you make it do. If you ask it to sit in a chair, a car and a couch all day then that is the range of motion you will have.

That’s what I got out of the above video. (Thanks to CrossFit Portland for the link.) What did you guys glean?

Part 1: Strength
For 5 rounds, alternate between A & B
A: 2 front squats
B: 2 back squats
Part 2: Metcon (15 minute cap)
2 rounds
15 handstand push ups
15 toes to bar
2 rounds
15 clapping push ups
15 knees to elbows
