Wanna read about the experience of coming back from the brink of fitness disaster? You could run too much for decades… or you could read T.J. Murphy’s book.
The plot? Nearly crippled runner tries CrossFit.
The result? I don’t do spoilers.
The style? Decent. It isn’t amazing literature but it is well written and it does manage to address realistically many of the standard concerns with doing CrossFit. There are some stories about Glassman (CrossFit founder) that seem a little far fetched to me – but hey, maybe they’re true, what do I know.
Read a book. For time, of course.
