Partner Work

I was recently inspired by watching the UFC fan expo CrossFit demo.  They did 6 workouts over the course of two days – all of which were partner based.  Sometimes both partners would be working at the same time, sometimes one would wait while the other worked.  It had a neat dynamic.
So I figured, why not end our skill week of balance practice with a bit of partner balance work.  One person takes a squat position while the other one hops up on their legs.  Then, the top person keeps their arms straight and leans back.  At the same time, the partner in the squat position leans back as well.  If done properly, it’s actually not that much effort to pull off.  It is scary if you’ve never done it before… but it’s also super fun.

Waiting
14 minute partner AMRAP
7 Chest to Overhead Anyhows (135/95)
7 Toes to bar

One partner must hold a wall sit position while the other works.  When you switch roles, resume the round exactly where your partner left off.
Check the whiteboard for scores.
