Transitioning Again

There’s no move like the one you’re doing right now.  What I mean to say is whatever you just did, forget about it.  The moment is now… as is the movement.  The movement is now.  Deadlifts?  Those are so 2 seconds ago.  You’re squatting now.  Totally different movement.  Launch in with the knowledge that you are fully rested and capable of doing air squats because they are the movement of the moment and when you get back to deadlifts then those will be the movement of the moment.
Is this a ploy to get you to go faster?  Yes.  Can you go faster?  Probably?  Is CrossFit just an act of convincing you to work harder?  Not entirely, some of it is limited by physical capacity but the mental game is real… you can keep going – especially if you can figure out a way to convince yourself to do so.  So like I said, the next movement is the movement and the moment.  Move on.
