Roundhouse Kick

With the theme of the week being kicking and the theme of the month (thanks, Sifu Kyle!) being video feedback, it seems ultimately appropriate to post the video from tonight of students throwing roundhouse kicks.

We filmed “broken down” versions of the kick – meaning that the students were going through the kick step by step rather than throwing it quickly.  The purpose of this is so that we could easily see each movement and then “fix it” if necessary.  The hope is that this learning process will translate into a quality full speed kick… and we’ll see if that hope is justified next time we do some videos.
