Glorious and absurd, even the wheelbarrow has good and bad technique to it. The natural tendency will be to grab your partner by the feet. The result is that their legs flop around and makes it hard for both of you to keep your balance (especially if they weigh more than you). The solution is to grab further up the leg – shin, knee, thigh – the higher the better (though your shyness and your level of friendliness with your partner may dictate just how high up you can grab) and to keep their leg tight to your hips. This will keep the hand walking partner stable, making it easier for both of you to move.
There is an efficient way to do everything. We’re here to find that way – even in the warmups.
