Sometimes, the balance of a workout is just right – the weight, the reps, the movements and the round scheme – to induce a complete and utter rotten feeling in every athlete who completes it.
Today’s workout was one of those “perfect” workouts. About two minutes in, you could feel it in the air, you could see it in everyone’s face. This one was going to be a grinder.
What’s the best strategy to getting through one of these workouts? Do the work. Don’t get stuck in your head. Besides, it’s not so bad once it’s over.
