Nutrition and Simplicity

It’s not a zone book.  It’s not a paleo book.  It is a quick read.  Reading is good for you.
Here’s the executive summary: “Eat food.  Mostly vegetables.”  By food Pollan means non-processed food.  It’s five bucks at Amazon or free at the Library.
Is it in line with the official CrossFit nutritional guidelines?  No.  It is instead an examination and condensing of food knowledge from around the world.  How have various cultures traditionally around the world eaten?  How has it served them?
The workout today was CrossFit total:
1 RM Back Squat
1 RM Shoulder Press
1 RM Deadlift
Lift heavy.
