All our school programs have begun anew, and full of students eager to be back! Students had enjoyed roughly three weeks of Winter Break, compliments of the record-breaking Winter Storm of Dec 2008/Jan 2009. In addition to the usual after-school programming at Lewis and Winterhaven Schools, Wally is now leading bi-weekly PE classes for all students at Southwest Charter School, and I have begun running an after-school class at The Academy of Kung Fu geared towards four & five-year olds. Here’s to all the pre–schoolers who have seen Kung Fu Panda, or aspire to Ninjahood!
