In keeping with the age-old Martial Arts tradition of serving others in the community, the Lewis Kung Fu Club kids and their families helped to install a butterfly garden at Lewis Elementary School. This garden was made possible through the $3,700 WISE Owl Grant and Portland State University. We used gloves, shovels, and buckets to move dirt from high to low ground, and dumped mulch all about. It was great to get out in the sun and get sweaty, dirty, and smiley!
