The week before Thanksgiving, Lara and I ran a special camp for the students of Abernethy school. They have a year round schedule and often have weeks off when other schools don’t. Last year they approached the Academy about having a camp. It happened but it was small and short.
This year, we had 21 students – 6 hours a day – for 5 days. It was a blast.
Tons of the students had never trained before and by the end of the week were throwing great punches, diving into low stances and dodging swinging sticks.
