Ownership

Even though this is written for students going for green sash, I like to think that every student has a sense of ownership about the school.

6.11 Ownership

The school is yours.  You train there.  You teach there.  Without students, there is no school.  As a blue going for green, you should have (or fake if necessary) a feeling of ownership surrounding the school.

With this ownership comes a sense of pride.  You work hard at the school.  You clean the school after every class.  You help out your fellow students.  These are all givens at this point in your training but hopefully, all these elements are beginning to coalesce into something a bit bigger – ownership.
