A World of Colors

Today we got to enjoy the Third Grade performances at Buckman Elementary, an Art Magnet School in SE Portland. Buckman is the only school in the entire public school district to boast a full-time music/drama teacher, full-time art teacher, and two part-time dance instructors! Wally was invited to work with the arts team in putting together their play, The Magic Paintbrush…and lent his expert lion dance moves and drum beats in working with one of the third grade classes to authenticate the piece. It was quite enjoyable, and well-received by all…for of course, the magic of Art won out over the evil emperor!
