Obvious Advice

Go faster.  Don’t rest.  Pick up the bar.  Keep going.  Don’t stop.
Duh.  Of course.  And yet, some obvious advice bears repeating because it doesn’t always apply to the workout at hand.  Some workouts are better accomplished with a sense of pacing in mind – others require a sense of abandon.
So when you stroll in and look at the whiteboard, strategize.  What is going to get you the best time?  How are you going to transition to shave off a few seconds each round?  Which movement is going to be easy for you and allow you some active rest?  Who should you stand next to that will inspire you to work harder?
Yes.  Go faster, of course – but don’t be afraid to engage in the ancient art of strategery.
