There was tons of information today to absorb but for me the big one that I walked away with was to move my body around the bar, instead of moving the bar around my body. Put another way, the bar is an inflexible piece of metal whereas I am a somewhat flexible conglomeration of flesh and bone. Thus I can accommodate whereas the bar can not. An old lesson, I’m sure but one that finally hit home very clearly for me today.
