Relative to You

Movement forward.  That’s what we seek – measurable progress.  With the heavy lifting days, it’s easy.  Were you able to lift more than you did last time?  Doesn’t matter if it’s by 1 pound or 50 pounds, all we’re looking for is an increase.
If not, why not?  Has your training been consistent?  Are you getting enough sleep and food?  Have you hit a plateau and if so are you comfortable hanging out there for a while?
Keep plugging away.  Small improvements add up and every once in a while (particularly at the beginning of your training) you’ll take a huge leap.  Savor those gains.
