Justin Murphy

Ever inexorably been ensorcelled by a slow motion constrictor? No? Me neither, but even so, I think it would be a familiar feeling because I have, in fact, rolled with the Justin. Somehow, you feel both cocooned in safety and yet are imminently aware of  your doom among the coils of this brown belted basilisk. Amazing stuff.

As a coach, Justin delivers precision and clarity. You will know exactly where to grip the Gi. You will know exactly which direction to roll. He will insure that all students get the individual adjustments they need to get the technique to work. Amazing patience and care.

Dave Bisers

Dave is like a bowling ball launched out of a cannon wrapped in a purple belt but with arms that pin you to the ground and choke you. Also, he’s an amazing teacher and leads the Wednesday standup class. You should come to his class and learn how to fall and how to throw. Despite his capacity to destroy, he is also incredibly patient and loves working with students of all abilities.

Wally Jones
Wally started training in BJJ in 2010. What started as a mission to cover the hole in his ground game grew into a full blown addiction to grappling. Wally has earned his purple belt in BJJ and is thrilled to have the chance to further work his ground skills and continue to integrate them into the bigger martial picture.

Tom Wells

If you have ever wondered if there was a human being in the world who embodied the notion of toughness on the mats, wonder no longer. Tom is that human, draped in a blue belt. Come to his classes and maybe you’ll get tougher too. Don’t worry, he’s one thousand percent gentle with new coaches.

April Henry

April is the best. Truly and for real. She’s awesome. She runs the women’s class but you can see her eager face and blue belt at pretty much every BJJ class we have because she loves being on the mats. Nothing excites her more than getting more humans in the gym to play with.
