Kung Fu Movie Night

This past Friday we hosted Lewis Elementary’s PTA family movie night, where the movie was Kung Fu Panda!!! This event also functioned as a fundraiser for the PTA and after-school Kung Fu Club program (but was primarily a social event for the whole school to enjoy). There was a good turnout, as demonstrated by the fact that the Kung-Fu-Club-manned concession stand very nearly sold out of goodies and popcorn! At .25 cents and .50 cents a pop, it served as an excellent math lesson, as students had to total purchases, and make change. We are grateful to all Kung Fu Kids who helped out, and the Lewis PTA for their continued appreciation and support!
