Spring Break Fun!

This year’s Spring Break Camp was tremendous fun, and today’s culminating demonstration clearly showed that each and every child made tremendous gains! Wally and I were both pleased and impressed by the performance. Students first “showed off” the basic techniques they learned as a whole-group, and were then given opportunity to come to the front to individually perform their first form, Sui-Wan. Throughout camp students were likewise challenged to make cross-curricular connections between the daily Lifeskills/Literacy focus and camp experiences. What follows is a list of the Lifeskills covered in this past week:

COURAGE
COMPASSION
EFFORT/INDEPENDENCE
PROBLEM-SOLVING
PERSONAL BEST
