Progress

Today three students from the Winterhaven after-school program were promoted to the rank of orange sash by their instructor Wally Jones. While all three students have been training since October of this school year, we were just able to start offering classes up twice a week this past January. In order for students to improve, and as a requirement for earning rank, they must attend class at least twice a week. This holds true for students at The Academy as well. Although these three are the first from this program to hold rank, all of the students in the class show tremendous potential, along with outstanding focus and spirit. It shouldn’t be long before other Winterhaven students are promoted as well!
