Programming

Every once in a while, someone asks me where I get my programming from. Questions are good. They make me re-think and check in to see if what I’m doing is working.

The short answer for how I program is that I make it up.

The longer answer: I look at the current population of students, see where we are at and try and see how we can best progress.  Progress, to me, means improving our skills, our endurance, our strength, etc.

I also look at what other gyms are doing and borrow their ideas if they seem like they might help.

The way that I program is open to change.  Whatever works, I’ll program because adaptation is what we are, want and do.
