More Weight on the Bar

imagePerhaps you’ve noticed the tiny orange monster finger puppet who lives on the barbell rack. Perhaps you haven’t. Whatever your observational skill level, know that this monsters name is Bartholomew and his one and only job is to remind you to put more weight on the barbell.

How much more? More than last time.

Did you do 95 pounds the last time we did a clean and jerk EMOM? Well, says Bartholomew, this time do at least 96 pounds.

Don’t talk to Bartholomew when you are injured. He’s not a compassionate coach. He’ll give you the same answer every time, regardless of circumstance: put more weight on the bar.
