Theme of the Week: Play

When we play, we learn.  Why?  Because when we truly enter play mode, we smile, we try new things and we don’t get upset when the “game” tells us we made a mistake.

This week we’ll be examining how we can take an attitude of play with our martial arts.  For kids class today that meant playing the “Troll” game.  The kids try and run past the teachers without getting hit by the bopping stick.  For the adult class that meant playing “prison riot” where the goal is to not get slapped on the back by anyone else while dealing out as many slaps to the back as possible.

Play.  Learn.  Repeat.
