Barbells before the party

One of the most fun things to watch as a CrossFit coach is a good partner workout. I think what makes a partner workout good is a healthy mix of difficulty and absurdity.

Today’s workout, containing leap frog and partner deadlifts, had the perfect blend of challenge and comedy. How often do adults do leapfrog? When is the last time you picked up over 400 pounds with a buddy?

Part 1: Barbell Technique
Take 15 min to find a
1 rm snatch or clean & jerk
Part 2: gymnastic technique
Alternate 8
A: L sit hold
B: Handstand work
Part 3: Conditioning
With a partner, 12 min AMRAP of
12 partner deadlifts (combined body weight)
8 high five burpees
1 lap leap frog

Check the whiteboard for numbers.
